In My Bubble May 18, 2007

I’m now officially in my “birthday bubble” — it’s like nothing can bring me down or dapper my spirits! Hehe ü I recognized this feeling earlier this morning in the office when we had this problem with some files not being updated but I stayed cool and not let it affect me. That’s when I knew I was getting excited for my birthday. There’s nothing special planned - will just have dinner with the family — but I don’t know. I can’t find a word to best describe how I am feeling. Not really “excited” in the true sense of the word; it’s like I’m just content. Yeah, something like that. I think for the 2 days before my birthday (the 1st day being today) I’m not thinking of anything at all. No problems, no issues, no work related stress (yeah right!) — just me and my own little birthday bubble world ü

Nothing really special happened over this week that passed. Last weekend though, after shift around 8:30-9am, SO and I went to the local beer/hang out joint that we go to with our friends and just drank beer and had some quiet time to just talk with each other about anything. That was a nice way to end the work week.ü Shrek is premiering today and I’m so excited to watch it. Might ask the family to all watch it together on Sunday.
