Teriyaki Boy April 20, 2008
BF visited me here at home yesterday; it’s nice to be able to spend time with him here in the south, because I’m the one usually visiting him in Pasig. We went to the place where I had my aircon fixed and where I had my oil changed for the car because I was going to pay for it na - I can pay a little later since daddy knows the owner, hehe
Anyway, the card swiping thing wasn’t available to BF and I just ate at Burger Machine. He had the Double Burger with the Chili Con Carne while I had the Cheesy Bacon Burger. We dropped by Ruins to look for a DVD to watch at home - we ended up buying My Big Love, haha!
We also bought Sago’t Gulaman, yummy! We decided to buy a movie because my sister’s BF was at the house also so. When we got home we watched My Big Love right away. It was funny because Sam Milby really looked ridiculous and it was eye candy also when he got thin already. Plus the kilig moments in the movie helped too.
After the movie, BF and I were supposed to go to Laiya Grill along Aguirre Avenue but we wanted somewhere where we can just chill (I know pretty impossible on a Saturday night) so we decided to go to Bluewave (along Macapagal Blvd) instead. But it was quite crowded also so we ended up going to Harbor Square (beside CCP) instead. We just walked along the path by the bay (naks! HHWWPSSP! Haha, “holding hands while walking pa-sway sway pa! :P). We both love Japanese so it was a unanimous decision to eat at Teriyaki Boy.
I’ve always loved Japanese food. I’m generally not picky with food so if I want a quick Japanese fix I can eat at Tokyo Tokyo, Teriyaki Boy, Sumosam or any other Japanese fast food/resto out there but a good Japanese fix for me is eating at Saisaki.
I haven’t really tried all good (& expensive) Japanese restaurants but I’m ok with Saisaki.
Anyway, since we had Burger Machine earlier in the afternoon already I decided against ordering my usual of Katsudon. But BF still ordered his Gyu-Yakiniku Don, hehe
Rice topped with beef egg. I ordered my usual Kakiage tempura nalang. Plus, an order of California Maki, haha, we couldn’t resist!
After dinner, we just sat outside and had our nicotine fix then he drove me home na. Speaking of driving, I drove from the house to Macapagal and I insisted on this because the car that BF brought was their manual car and I wanted to practice again. We passed by Coastal road and guess what, na-traffic pa kame, haha, my left food literally went numb.
It was all good, at least I can say that I can still drive a stick shift.
