I just made a long post and after clicking on “Publish Post” it gave me an error. Then, of course, when you click on back whatever you written will be erased. Pfft.

This is one of the reasons I want to transfer to another blog site.

I want September 25, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 10:06 am

I’m getting really frustrated. I like blogspot/blogger but I can’t seem to separate my paragraphs! I know it’s not such a biggie but I’m getting OC over it! I want my paragraphs separated. When I compose a blog (or essay, letter, or whatever), I want a next paragraph because I may be talking about a totally different thing already. I’ve tried entering a lot of times but when I publish the post it still comes out smushed up. =( Hay. I am now browsing the internet for other blogs I can sign up in. Hmph - but I don’t want to leave because I have posts here already that are quite old and I don’t want to transfer everything. But if I find a really good one, I might transfer.

A friend & I were smoking at the ground floor in the office early this morning after lunch when SO texted that he was on the way already. So I told him we just started smoking & that we’ll wait for him then he replies with this message: “Umutot yung taxi driver” (The taxi driver farted.) Hahaha I let our friend read it and we were laughing until SO arrived. The cab driver brought him around and we looked at him and laughed again. Hahaha! We asked SO if it smelled and he said yes! Haha (”,)

Anyway, I now have 3 items in an “I Want” list that I just started, uhm, today. Hehe (”,) First off, the Oakley shades - my God! I loooove it! The name is Oakley Behave Chrome, and it’s for women. Look at it and enjoy!

Look at how fabulous it is! If only it weren’t Php10,995 I would have bought it instantly.

Another want are contact lenses. I have been wearing glasses for almost 5 years already, I think. More or less. And I want to buy contacts so that when I have my Oakley Behave already I can wear them without having to worry whether I can see the next stoplight or not! =D I’m thinking I’ll get hazel ones and maybe grey ones; not yet sure on that but I’ll definitely get hazel ones.

Okay, the grey ones were scary. I remembered seeing them before and liked it. Anyway, I’m sure on this, I want hazel contacts. ;)

The last item on my list (so far) is an Eternity ring. It doesn’t have to be given by SO, actually. I have an officemate who has one and she just bought it (that was around 3 years ago) for P500 (at Php45 to a dollar, it’ll be roughly around $11). A friend of hers is into making jewelry and she ordered it from that friend. Obviously, with a price like that it won’t be made of kick ass diamonds but nevertheless, I liked how it looked; that would be enough — for now. Hehehe! =)

I tried looking for a picture that would be the best resemblance to what my friend’s friend is selling and the first photo is pretty much how it looks like. And then, eventually, when I have all the money in the world (insert evil laugh here), that 2nd ring is what I’ll get. Will it ever be possible? Hehe I’ll just keep on hoping.

Bar Exams September 23, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 10:21 am

Finally, it’s the weekend again. (”,) After Friday shift (Saturday morning) I, again, waited for SO to get out at 11:30 am ( I get off at 6 am). I just slept in the car in the office parking lot — it’s on the 3rd floor & not on the street, so no biggie. After his shift we headed straight to Seaside Dampa along Macapagal Ave (parallel to Roxas Blvd.). We ate at the restaurant called Ebinaku - this is a team building for one of the teams in SO’s project; I’m kinda adopted by them already. (”,) We ordered Garlic Butter Crabs, Garlic Butter Prawns (not shrimps!), Baked Mussels, Calamari, Clam soup (Halaan) & a lot of rice! Haha! “Dampa” is described as a wet market where you can buy fresh seafood caught that morning but you can also order a la carte, but why go a la carte when you can get your food fresh straight out of the market. There are a lot of dampa places around the Metro and the one near Mall of Asia is where we ate. There were rows and rows of restos you can choose from - there are sometimes 3 same restos scattered around the dampa area. The resto we ate at was chosen by our manager so we didn’t have to go through the process of looking at the menu & checking out how much they charged for the cooking of the food. We didn’t go around the actual market already, we just ordered stuff and just asked the waiter to make sure to choose the freshest seafood in the market. The restos usually have contracted stalls in the market already for certain stuff. Anyway, after wolfing down on delicious seafood we went to Mall of Asia (MOA) to walk all the food off. We were also going to watch a movie but the walk helped. ;)

We were supposed to watch I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry but we didn’t make it on time for the screening so we ended up wathing I Know Who Killed Me. This movie stars Lindsay Lohan. I read somewhere that she’ll have a movie where she plays a stripper and will have to do a pole dance - this was that movie. It was weird & gory! Quick story: It’s a little town, Aubrey Flemming (Lohan) has the perfect life, good grades, jock boyfriend, excels in everything she does, writes fiction, is a great pianist, etc etc etc. Then there’s a serial killer on the lose, a schoolmate vanishes, found the dead body a few days (?) after then what do you know, Aubrey disappears too. But she comes out of it alive then after waking up from the coma she’s a totally different person — she’s now Dakota Moss, the stripper. Anywaaay, you can read a review here >> http://www.cinematical.com/2007/07/27/review-i-know-who-killed-me/ . All in all, it was a weird movie and every single one in our group was either perplexed, confused, laughing (!) or just woke up. ;) Hehe..

After the movie, we all went our separate ways already. SO and I picked up my bestfriend Curly (not her “real” name, hehehe) at the Casino Filipino. Her parents brought her with them to a black-tie event there. We were just supposed to “pick” her up but SO badly needed to go the little boy’s room that we decided to just meet Curly inside. After SO went to the washroom - we wandered around the floor and were mesmerized with all the chips and the sound of the slots. Curly now presented a Php300 coupon that can play at the tables, but you can’t play with just that, you have to play an equivalent value of the coupin in chips. So SO borrowed Php1,000 from Curly and sat down to a newly opened Baccarat table. The dealer even had me cut the deck because I was just sitting on the table waiting for SO to decide what to play & where. Anyway, SO got the hang of it and as he played along he was already able to double the Php1k - he was thinking of giving me the 1,000 chip to keep already but decided against it and had the dealer break it into 100s. We ended up not winning anything, haha!

After the casino, we headed straight to me and Curly’s kumare (what you call the mom of your godchild) - it’s not her birthday until tomorrow but she & her hubby held the party last night. We arrived late and weren’t even able to stay for at least 2 hours! I was so sleepy, I already fell asleep on my chair. =( So we went ahead and left; then dropped of Curly at her house and I went home with SO.

We got up early this morning, around 5:30 am (we got home around 2am) because we had to go to Taft Avenue (where our university is) because it’s the last Sunday of the Bar Exams. SO’s sister is taking it this year and we met up with his mom at Starbucks. I’ll be going back to Taft later this afternoon, before the examiners finish, so I’ll get to see all the action which happens before the start of the very first exam and on the very last day. I’m so excited! Haha SO and his mom will spend the day in the area already. Their mom’s a judge (labor arbiter) and they’re there to show support to the sister. (”,) I can’t wait! Haha they said that there’s almost always an oblation run (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.P._Oblation) on the last day, woohoo! Haha! (”,) Oblation run = male students run around naked! That should be interesting. I’ll try to take pictures!

I’m still enjoying my P990i & have no plans of trading it in for another one. ;)

Pfft September 20, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 10:27 am

I’m getting frustrated. When I’m reading other people’s blogs I get so inspired that I get all these thoughts in my head of things that I want to share & blog about. Then just now, after clicking in “New Post” and after setting up my font & font size my mind suddenly goes blank and I can’t think of a single thing to write about. I just discovered a new blog - the writer is a stay at home mom in Texas with a little 3 year old girl. She had a post about Connie Talbot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connie_Talbot and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En0A8KGMgq8 - this 2nd link is her first time to sing in Britain’s Got Talent; & this 3rd link is Connie singing in the finals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkcE6Vy-e6c&NR=1) - I got goosebumps watching & listening to her sing. She brought me to tears! She was just so sweet & innocent and she made me feel at peace, even for just 3 minutes, and she made me feel that there’s not a hint of war, famine & violence in the world. Oh well, that’s just me.

SO and I were having our cigarette break early this morning at work and I caressed his face, I just stroked it with my pointer & middle finger and he gave me this look like “what was that about?!”; then I told him I miss you that’s all. I felt kinda bad. Is it my fault that I miss him everyday? Now, I got to thinking, if he thinks the idea is absurd (since we see each other everyday - for short periods only, though) should I be worried? Because I want someone to miss ME everyday also! So if we get married - obviously, we’d be living together already, wouldn’t he miss me? At all?!

UAAP September 13, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 10:31 am

Just this Sunday, SO & I, together with my sister & her boyfriend watched the DLSU-ADMU game in Araneta Center. It was my first ever (live) UAAP experience! It was so much fun! It was definitely a natural high. I immediately told SO that we’ll have to watch the succeeding games after this. I kept on asking myself why I watched only now.

I have a friend who’s 4-5months pregnant (I think) and I just saw her picture now — she’s so pretty & she looks so contented, happy & glowing. I wanna be like that when I get pregnant in the future. I want to be a sexy, pregnant woman & I’d still wear sexy clothes even if I already have a bun in the oven, haha.

I obviously don’t have much to say so I’ll just shut up.

Raindrops August 9, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 9:36 am

It’s been raining non-stop for 3 days now and I’m feeling so happy! I know it’s kinda mean because a lot of people are commuting while I’m in the comfort of my car driving to & from work but I can’t help it! I love it when it’s raining (”,) And for the first time, since the cold months of December-February, I’m using a blanket again. Hehe it’s that hot here. I’m even using the water heater now when I’m taking a bath/shower.

Yesterday morning, after shift, SO & I ate at Chowking (Chinese fast food resto) and had congee. Yummm, perfect for the rainy weather. We also had a side order of tofu.

My interview with IBM was supposed to be yesterday afternoon (6pm) but when I woke up at around 3pm, I texted my contact to confirm the interview since it was really pouring down yesterday. She (Mapet) said that Sherwin (the interviewer) will just do a phone interview if I didn’t mind — of course not! Haha I wouldn’t be as nervous as I would be in person. But eventually Mapet forwarded my number to Sherwin and I ended up exchanging text messages with Sherwin and he eventually asked me when I was free because we’ll just reschedule the interview and I just told him Friday. Then he confirmed and just told me everything would be the same (time, place, etc) just that the date was moved. So there, I slept again after the message exchanges and woke up in time for work.

Something happened to my phone over the weekend. For some weird reason I can’t hear anything (& I can’t be heard either) when I answer calls. It happened last Saturday but what’s weird is I never dropped the phone yet. Example, you call me and I answer the phone - we can’t hear each other. When I make the call and you answer it, I can hear you but you still can’t hear me. Now, even if you call me I can already hear you but I still can’t be heard. Arrgh. At least that’s one reason for buying my P990i, hehe but I’m thinking of the re-sell value of course. Might have it fixed over the weekend just in time for it’s last week with me, teehee! It’s payday already next week and next weekend I’m gonna get my P990i baby! Haha! (”,) I’m having these weird thoughts lately that I will not have enough salary to buy the P990i and I can seriously see myself crying! I’m just hoping & keeping my fingers (and toes!) crossed that I’ll get enough — enough to buy a phone and enough to sustain me until the next payday. Plus, I’ll have to buy my ticket already. Ugh.

That’s it, pansit! Hehe I just hope the weather stays cool. (”,)

A day with my Crushee (aka SO) August 5, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 2:17 am

After shift Friday night, SO and I went home at their house and took a nap there. Left the house around 2:45pm to go to Ateneo because the whole BPO community at work had a soccer thing going on. When we arrived there, there were players wearing jerseys with the name of the company but we didn’t recognize anyone; they might be from other sites/offices. Instead of heading back home — we didn’t have anything to do anyway — we just stayed there and watch them practice. There was even an actual game being played on the other field; so we just watched both teams alternately. After Ateneo, we headed to Timog Ave - to Kalentong actually to eat at Snackaroo. It’s a small eatery with yummy steaks for a really cheap price. I had the Porterhouse, while SO had a T-Bone - I liked the T-Bone better but we shared both steaks so no biggie.

A friend of ours lives in the area so we texted them to tell them we were in Snackaroo but when he replied we were already done eating. I think our friend and his girlfriend wanted to follow and eat there also. Anyway, we just decided to meet up at Shangri-La mall. When SO and I got to Shangri-La we just went around and window shopped. I, as usual, tried on a lot of shoes. We even had the gall to enter stores like Nine West, Colehaan, Ralph Lauren, etc, hehehe. I liked a super nice pair of shoes at one of the shops that we went in to - too expensive so I just killed the wish of owning the pair away. =P After walking around the mall waiting for our couple friend to arrive, we had coffee at Starbucks and just stayed there & smoke.

After Shangri-La, we met up with another couple at Menu in Metrowalk and had a couple of rounds of beer. I, on the other hand, just had one and a Coke Light, hehe. I’m not really a beer drinker and SO & I wouldn’t shell out a hundred or so bucks for a poorly mixed margarita so I just settled for that one bottle and a Coke Light.

We planned on going to Batangas on the 18th to the 20th - I will file my vacation leave as early as Monday (August 06), just to be sure. ;) They weren’t even finished drinking yet when SO & I decided to go ahead. First, he was really sleepy already because he wasn’t able to sleep straight this afternoon and 2nd, I was getting sleepy myself and I still had to drive home.

So there, nothing really grand happened this Saturday, I’m just so happy that SO and I spent a whole day together and we were both just laughing the whooole day, hihi. Then today being our 3rd year and 1st month anniversary is a plus! (”,)

July that passed July 31, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 12:21 pm

July went by so fast. It’s already the 31st today.

  • I got a new phone about a month ago — again. I know, I know. I traded in my Nokie 6280 for a Nokia 6300. It’s really thin; the features are exactly the same as the N6280 except that it’s not a slider phone anymore. One of the reasons I switched is becasuse I didn’t want a slider phone anymore. But even before I got the N6280 (free from Globe), I have always wanted a Sony Ericsson P990i. I really, seriously think that this is it for me. After a long string of different phones (N6600, N7610, Motorola v3x — I think I still missed out on a few phones in between these), I think that I’d finally end my “search” for the ultimate phone with the P990i. It’s a phone, computer & PDA all rolled into one. It has a 2 megapixel camera but there are a lot of ways that you can set it up to give you the best quality picture — or even the silliest. (”,) It’s so sleek and elegant and I think I’m meant to have a “bulky” phone. The N6300 is really thin and small but I think it’s a tad too small for me. Overtime at work is not paid out until the next month so with all the overtime that I’ve incurred this month, I’m just waiting for all of them to be accredited to my August 15 payout and I’m off to Greenhills to buy my brand spankin’ new Sony Ericsson P990i. The price getting cheaper by the week is just an added (much welcomed) bonus. The price dropping means that there are a lot of newer, better, more updated phones coming out but I think that even if the P990i is getting cheaper it can still hold it’s own against all the other phones (or PDAs) coming out.

  • Whew, that was long! Hehe I just really want my P990i. ;) Over the weekend, S.O. and I had a cartoon marathon with friends. First things first, we skipped work last Friday, I know, bad. =P We met up with a group of friends at Chili’s and drank. The guys had beer while the girls had a pitcher of Margarita (my fave! I didn’t like their mix that much, though) — they called us the “margarita girls”, hehe. Slept over at S.O.’s place and met up with officemates over lunch on Saturday. After lunch we transferred to the karaoke place that we always go to and sang our hearts out the whole afternoon! S.O. drank with the guys again (I’m not much of a beer drinker) and I had 2 Coke Lights, hehe. Oh, I drank a bottle of beer. Haha wow! =P After that we went to Rockwell to meet up with friends (another couple) and we watched the 10pm screening of The Simpsons Movie. It was HILARIOUS! I don’t know how to better describe other than there was never a dull scene the entire movie! I loooove the Spiderpig scene! Hahaha! I recommend it to everyone! Sunday afternoon, I picked up S.O. and we went to Greenhills to have his Xbox checked because it wasn’t working anymore. It was too expensive to have fixed and I think he’s decided to just sell it. But we just brought the console so everyone we asked wanted to buy it at a cheaper prices because it wasn’t complete. I think we’ll just bring it back next time. So I texted our friend and invited them (together with his “friend”, hehe status: complicated) to watch Ratatouille with us. Then another friend came along with us be he was solo. Before meeting up with anyone, S.O. and I had dinner at Won ton first. I had the Spicy Pork Chop with Tofu and Shrimp Wanton Noodles. It was both yummy! S.O. ordered Beef Teriyaki Rice Toppings - it was so so. After that we bought tickets and waited for the movie to start (we caught the 10pm screening at Promenade). The movie was ok but it wasn’t wow for me. I’m not really sure why, maybe because I saw Simpsons first? I really don’t know. It was a good movie, generally.

  • I have a new boss and everyone’s calling him monster. He’s bossy, arrogant, know-it-all, and everything else. He’s talking to his co-managers like he’s the better one or like he has the higher position but they’re all (3 of them) the same! I don’t know how else to describe him but everyone’s talking behind his back already. He’s not really likeable anymore.

Tired July 7, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 7:26 am

I am so tired from work. I’ve had been working 13-15 hour days for the past 2 weeks already. Even 4th of July, which is a holiday, we had to render overtime. Ugh. The project is in kinda being looked on by everyone. We haven’t met our metrics for the past 3 months already, I think. So everyone’s (Client) eyes are on us.

I’m ranting about the 4th of July overtime because it was our 3rd year anniversary. We just had lunch at Friday’s then went home right after. No time even for a little sexy time ;) Hehehe.. Anyway, last weekend SO and I were able to watch Transformers already and it was sooo good! I wasn’t a fan of it before (I was more a Barbie kid, hehe) but now I am! The robots were so nice in, uhm, transforming (hehe for lack of a better word). Every single minute of the 2 and a half hour film was captivating. There was never a dull scene in the movie!(”,)

I am officially 24 June 8, 2007

Filed under: Blah — eternally pink @ 10:09 am

My birthday has come and gone. It went by so fast before you know it I was 24 already!Ü Saturday night (May 19th) S.O. & I plus 2 other friends welcomed my birthday at Gerry’s Grill in Silver City, Tiendesitas. The night before the new bar Alchemy opened so we decided to go there after Gerry’s Grill — guess what? The place was so empty! Haha well, we’ll give it some time; it just opened the night before. Fast forward to Sunday; around 1pm my grandparents dropped by to greet me and give me my cake (Chocolate Mousse from Red Ribbon) and ice cream (Vanilla from Magnolia Nestle). Went to the 4:30pm mass with my family then we headed to SM Mall of Asia right after. We watched Shrek 3!! Haha it was a funny movie. My new favorite character is Gingy Ü After the movie we ate at Pink Pepper, still in MOA. It was one of the restaurants on the side of the mall overlooking Manily Bay; but we didn’t sit outside, haha! After that S.O. and I met up with friends in Jay-J’s and said goodbye to my birthday there.

The following weekend (May 26-27) we went to Canyon Cove in Batangas (again!) for another birthday celebration — yes, still for me!Ü We drank till 6 in the morning! We went out around 5 am and swam in the ocean and our friend kept on shouting good morning & wake up wake up to the neighbors! Haha!Ü And other people actually came out and it wasn’t even 6am yet! Ooops!Ü

Last weekend, S.O. and I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End. If you weren’t able to watch the first two movies this would be quite confusing. I was already able to watch the first two and even I got confused; but just a bit, teehee! Really funny, my grandparents went out and my lola (grandmother) wanted to watch Spiderman 3 while my lolo (grandfather) wanted to see Pirates. So they ended up watching Pirates and left even before the movie ended! Hehe it was so funny when they told us about it; they were inside the movie house asking each other what was happening when they both didn’t have a clue! Why was someone dying and then coming back in the next scene alive they asked. Oh well, it would be really hard to explain; I’d have to start from Pirates of the Caribbean 1.Ü
